As we near the Thanksgiving holiday, I am reminded of the following significant event in my life and why I am so thankful.
On March 30, 2009 I was able to send out the following Ice Chip.
Around 2PM on Saturday March 28, 2009, I had a wake-up call. I had a cardiac incident and now have a stent in one of my arteries. The event is a blessing in the form of an opportunity to shift some paradigms for my life.
I am very grateful for this opportunity.
While in the hospital, I was away from my computer and away from emails. When I returned home on Tuesday, I found the following Quote Action in my in-box dated Sunday 03-29-09:
Here’s your “QuoteAction” of the day:
“The art of living is always to make a good thing out of a bad thing.”
Economist, E.F. Schumaker
Your action for today is to take a bad thing that has happened to you recently and see if you can make a good thing out of it.
Enjoy an extraordinary day!
What an incredible coincidence!!
I am so blessed by the love and care of my wonderful wife, partner and best friend: Nancy. The care I received from the medical team…my friends…the calls…and emails…and well wishes…and flowers and cards; went way beyond anything I could have imagined. THANK YOU ALL FOR THESE PRECIOUS GIFTS!!
So here is an Ice Chip that will forever change my point of view:
“I embrace any circumstances that come my way, because I have been blessed with an opportunity to shine in excellence.” ~~Bob Nicoll
Remember to acknowledge your areas of growth and change, as well as your greatness.
You are a remarkable miracle, and it is my honor to continue to share this journey with you.
Until next week….
Best regards, and love and respect,
Bob
